(Last visited July 2, 2023.) At the end of our Sunday Funday, we are making our way back to our Brooklyn hotel and we need some dinner. We walk in front of a place called "Burger Village" and decided to give it a try! Atmosphere/Appearance: This place is warm, welcoming, open and brightly lit! Once you walk in you have a little bar off to the right and a place where you place your order. The decor is very upbeat, welcoming, bright and original. There are chalkboards everywhere with beautifully hand-drawn/written characters that just make the place feel lighthearted! Service: One of the owners was there and she made us feel SO SPECIAL! She was friendly, approachable, talkative and just made sure that we had everything that we needed! Food: The menu is vast, but pretty straightforward. The place is called Burger Village so they specialize in burgers with many different protein options, but they also offer salads, hot dogs, wings and the like. So the menu is setup to where you want to choose a protein first, then to the right of that protein they recommend the best pairing with that protein. They offer a traditional beef, then you can upgrade to bison or switch over to elk, turkey, boar, salmon, ostrich, lamb or go meatless with a vegan burger! So many choices! I wanted something so different so I went with an ostrich burger in the Petite Style that was recommended. Petite Style is served with bleu cheese, lettuce, sauteed onions, sauteed mushrooms, bacon and a signature sauce. This burger looked so beautiful! It was tall, colorful and it smelled amazing. I also didn't know that ostrich has different cooking temperatures! Unlike chicken and stuff, you can get ostrich cooked medium! Lol. Upon first bite it was hot, tender, juicy, but very, very lean. Ostrich certainly has its own distinct flavor that's difficult to describe. It must be experienced. The other ingredients on the burger complemented the meat very well. The saltiness of the bacon and cheese was good, the acid from the bleu cheese was good. I loved this burger. The sweet potato fries could've used more salt, but they were good. Value: So the ostrich burger was 17.00, but to make it Petite Style was an additional 5.00. So 22.00 for it, but it's ostrich! It's exotic! What did anyone expect?! Lol. Sweet potato fries were 7.00. I mean... it's New York City, stuff is gonna be more expensive. It is what it is. In conclusion, I really enjoyed my time and my meal here at Burger Village and I wouldn't hesitate to check them out again with another wild protein! Lol.

To start off, the day was beautiful, a Saturday afternoon 70, so we took a drive to the promenade to enjoy the nice weather, sights, and people. He wanted a burger and he found this place! THE BEST place I have had a berger yet! I love a good cheeseburger. You walk in, and there is music playing. There is a nice video to the place, cool. Not a lot of people, to which I was surprised after because the food here is to die for! Amazing! I had the California mystery berger (has avocado on it, fresh not yuk) he had the superior choice berger (it has a special sauce, he said it taste like Mac sauce maybe a thousand island not sure) onion rings (greatly seasoned) loaded fries(all toppings fresh). The dipping sauces were good, too. Wings were good, not soggy. I had a rootbeer. Loved. He had a gingerale, which tasted like real ginger with soda water. Service was TOP TIER. Everything 10/10

Burger Village is my new go-to burger spot! I love that they have something for everyone—grass-fed beef, vegan. I got the impossible burger and it was juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. My friend ordered the beef and couldn’t stop talking about how good it was—it actually had texture and flavor, not the usual bland patty. The buns were fresh, toppings were generous, and the onion rings were crispy. Staff was friendly and patient while we asked about the menu, and the place had a laid-back, clean vibe. If you’re looking for a spot that takes quality seriously but still feels casual and welcoming, definitely check this place out. Bonus points for organic ingredients and all the vegetarian/vegan options!

Great burgers made here! Asked the server for a recommendation and he didn’t disappoint! The waffle fries were sooo good too! Crispy on the outside/hot and tender in the inside. Dipped in the house sauce is the perfect combo

We were seated right away. The server was alone but provided excellent service. The food was awesome. Lots of delicious fries and a bison burger. The dips were excellent as well. And the best part was the reasonableness of the price. Well worth every penny. I highly recommend.

Burger Village in Downtown Brooklyn is a culinary gem that promises an unforgettable burger experience. From the moment I placed my order, I knew I was in for a treat. The friendly staff exuded genuine warmth, making me feel like an honored guest rather than just another customer. As I eagerly awaited my meal, I couldn't help but admire the rustic charm of the restaurant – old funny posters and mechanisms adorning the walls, and a soundtrack of modern tunes that added to the cozy vibe. But let's talk about the star of the show – the burgers. Oh, what a delight they were! Each burger was a masterpiece of flavors and textures, crafted with care and precision. It was the beef patty burger with mashrooms, bacon and blue cheese. Every bite was a symphony of culinary bliss. What impressed me the most was the attention to detail. The buns were perfectly toasted, providing the ideal balance of crunch and softness, while the toppings were fresh and thoughtfully curated. It was evident that the chefs at Burger Village poured their heart and soul into each creation, and the result was nothing short of extraordinary. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.
